Tinta e Três
Tinta e Três
3 years of exhibitions
9th June to 18th July 2022
- Say Ink and Three.
- How?
- Ink and Three! Tinta (nos Nervos) is us, the six who idealised and had the will, and the many who joined in and added to it. It is also this creative impulse to which paints, scratches and lines give shape, like a seismograph of so much to say. Thirty exhibitions have passed through the gallery since we opened on 6 June 2019. Three years of open doors, celebrating the arts of drawing and books, without borders. Thirty-three... No! More than forty, in fact... These are the artists from different generations and backgrounds who have shown their work at Tinta.
To mark the occasion, we invited them to show recent work - glimpses of the past three years - in order to create a panorama that is necessarily eclectic in its aesthetic and discursive choices and in the media used. The works were chosen by the artists on an intentionally subjective basis, from their latest production or those created on purpose for this moment and, in this sense, unpublished. In occasional cases, the collection fuelled the distance or impossibility, so that this would be a meeting of all.
Tinta e três is therefore a boiling device, open to discovery and to the meaning that each spectator finds in it, through works by Aidan Koch, Aimée Pédézert, Ana Biscaia, Ana Maçã, André Lemos, André Pereira, André Ruivo, Cátia Serrão, Ching-yu Cheng, Cláudia Salgueiro, Damien Monteau, Dedo Mau, Diniz Conefrey, Dois Vê, Edmond Baudoin, Ema Gaspar, Inês Oliveira, João Carola, José Feitor, Marco Mendes, Maria João Worm, Oficina Arara, Oscar Räna, Ostraliana, Paulo Robalo, Pedro Proença, Rita Oliveira Dias, Run Jiang, Susa Monteiro, Susana Marques.
