A solo project by the veteran Portuguese author (Diário de K., História de Lisboa), this is a book that mixes an old-school "adventure" - a strange mission involving a pilot of the Pacific War - and a metatextual perspective - the nostalgic love for comics of the same genre, an autobiographical revisitation of childhood experiences in their discovery. The result is a text on several levels, which sink into the danger of contaminating itself and creating a vortex that will trap the reader himself in another trap.
