In 2019, the IVAM (Valencian Institute of Modern Art) commissioned Paco Roca to make a special comic strip for the exhibition center. If then the challenge was how a comic book story could be told in the four walls of a museum, two years after that "ephemeral experience" that he entitled El Dibujado, in which visitors walked through one of the museum's rooms, between March and June of that pre-pandemic year of 2019, reading the practically silent proposal made for that space, what Roca now intends is to "recover that history to give it a more intimate reading", as he himself states.
