INÉRCIA, André Carrilho
In Portuguese, INÉRCIA contains, spread over 150 pages, more than 80 drawings made over two years, portraying countless landscapes touched by the gaze of ANDRÉ CARRILHO on three continents, from the interior of Portugal to the beaches of the Pacific, from Lisbon to Macau. The author, who masters like no one else a tool called the computer, decided to go back to the basics: paper, paints and drama. They are moments torn from reality, postcards forever fixed in small notebooks now dispersed. They can now continue in progress, overcoming inertia, in a book that also brings together small diary texts (with a taste of salt and other spices).
