Collection of drawings, texts and textile works by Wonne Dippmann, originally from Tel Aviv, Israel, where she has spent the last seven years studying and working. Wonne Dippmann works mainly in the field of drawing, although her artistic curiosity about materials goes far beyond paper. Escapes documents the artist's work process during her transition from Tel Aviv to Berlin. Each series or edition is based on a written work, presenting patterns of observation of its immediate environment, such as movement, color, shape or emotion. Starting from a literary content, each series or cycle reconstructs an explicit period of time, in which the development of each drawing is fluid and open. A cycle, usually consisting of 40 to 100 drawings, is numbered and composed from the beginning, so that each individual work reconnects with the previous one.
