Arts Factory: 25 ans au coeur de la scène graphique
In French. Hardcover, 258 pages, 30 x 23 x 2 cm. Abbaye D'auberive, September 2022.
An overview of the contemporary graphic scene through exhibitions, numerous collective projects and works by more than fifty international artists associated with the history of the mythical Parisian gallery Arts Factory (from Nine Antico to Willem, through Charles Burns, Stéphane Blanquet, Hervé Di Rosa, Kiki & Loulou Picasso, Killoffer and Pierre La Police).
Established in Paris since 1996, the Arts Factory gallery has been exploring the contemporary graphic scene for 25 years, at the crossroads between drawing, comics and illustration. Made in close collaboration with its founders, Effi Mild and Laurent Zorzin, this book portrays a life project and a common passion. True to their often pioneering choices, the two gallerists reveal throughout the pages a very personal artistic direction; generous, inspiring, sometimes destabilizing, but always accessible to the general public...
Published on the occasion of the homonymous exhibition presented at the Centre for Contemporary Art of the Abbey of Auberive, from 5 June to 25 September 2022.
