"Harvested" is an experimental work by Ilan Manouach, co-published by the Portuguese publisher MMMNNNRRRG, which maps the invisible art found within the sets of pornographic films. By collecting thousands of images from adult movies, the author utilized microworkers to identify artworks appearing in the backgrounds. The result is a surprising inventory ranging from generic IKEA decorations to replicas of masters like Miró, Rothko, and Pollock. This visual archive challenges our perception and proposes an alternative art history, focused on peripheral vision and the unlikely contexts of the adult industry.
