Jacobs et le secret de l'explosion and Composition de la bande dessinée), focused on the various ways of composing, textually, visually and structurally, a comic book board. Drawing on genetic and visual studies and post-structuralist readings dedicated to this art, this book discusses the door and the window as recurring figures or motifs in the composition. Citing examples from the entire global history of comics, there are no gender, epoch or geographical boundaries here, founding the hypothesis of a true universal discourse of this art.
