Hervé di Rosa is one of those cases in which labels fail in the less questioning or curious approaches to criticism. And this is due to the fact that his own production, deeply eclectic, was born directly from the fascination with the creativity and means of production of artists and artisans from all over the world. In and from the confluence of knowledge, proposals, cultural contexts, far from instituted artistic circuits. It is in his travels of prospecting and working together that Hervé di Rosa maps new understandings of "making", a fact that led him to the creation of his Museum of Modest Arts, in Sète, France. At a time when MAAT in Lisbon presents part of his work,  as celebratory as it is provocative, the book Hervé Au Tour du Monde is an important foundation in the understanding of this universe of references and such a unique work.
