The Girl from Ipanema, Yves H. , Hermann
In French, hardcover 56 pages in color, Le Lombard 2012, 2nd hand good condition.
"The Girl from Ipanema" is a Franco-Belgian comic originally released in 2005, with a script by Yves H. and art by the prestigious artist Hermann (Hermann Huppen). This work is part of the Signé collection of the publisher Le Lombard and is part of the so-called "USA Trilogy" by the same authors. The story begins in Los Angeles and focuses on a triangle of characters -- Tony "Jazz" Masciello and two women, Dorothy and Jennifer. Although the title refers to Brazil and the Bossa Nova song, the narrative is described as a "road movie" noir or urban thriller.
